Getting Ahead / Core Class Promo
WeDoVids was asked to put together a video to supplement fundraising efforts for the Life Enrichment Center's Getting Ahead and Core Construction programs. Miami Valley Nonprofit Collaborative
WeDoVids was asked to record a panel event for The Miami Valley Non Profit Collaborative which was to promote an upcoming workshop. The event consisted of 2 hosts, 4 panel speakers and a question and answers session at the end. In order to capture the event, we ran our audio directly from the sound system, utilized 2 fixed cameras and 2 roaming cameras to capture all aspects of the event. This setup allowed us to not only get multiple camera angles on the stage, but also get great shots of the crowd interacting with the panel during the Q&A session. Recovery Cafe Dayton
A local non-profit, Recovery Cafe approached WeDoVids to create a testimonial style video for their Dayton, Ohio chapter. This project. Most of the direction of the final product was left to us to produce. The final video follows a classic 3 act production, where act 1 identifies the problem and who is affected. Act 2 takes us through how the non-profit is helping, and act 3 shows success stories. This project ended up taking a turn from being a long-form interview style video, to a condensed, effective and provocative video, showcases real people, telling real stories. Becker Engineered Systems
WeDoVids was asked to do an product marketing video for a new water tower product from Becker Engineered Systems. Initially the client wanted a timelapse of the installation of the new product which was to take an hour to install. After learning the what the client was hoping to get out of the video we determined that a timelapse would not only be short, but wouldn't effectively get the true value of the product across to viewers, which is a good thing as during the actual shoot, the product only took 20 minutes to install as opposed to an hour. This left us with an 18 second timelapse video. With the challenge clearly defined, We had the product engineer/designer walk through all of the technical aspects of the installation and
