In this captivating footage, we document our journey to replicate a video produced by a national gas company in Houston, Texas, featuring a local nonprofit that helps renovate homes for those in need.

Things didn’t go as planned when we discovered that our main subject, the recipient of the services, didn’t want to appear on camera. Without the crucial interviews and B-roll footage, we faced the challenge of telling the story in a different way.

From dealing with windy conditions and equipment setups to exploring alternative storytelling methods, we share the highs and lows of our creative process. Witness our team’s resourcefulness as we make the most of the situation and capture the essence of the project.

Although one scene featuring the CEO had to be rescheduled, the overall day is deemed a big success.
